Philip Leung, MD

Philip Leung, MD, is a board-certified pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine physician at Midwest Respiratory, Ltd., providing complete respiratory care to adults in Joliet and New Lennox, Illinois.

Dr. Leung brings more than 20 years of experience to the practice. He studied at the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong, earning his medical degree.

After graduation, Dr. Leung moved to the United States and completed an internship, residency, and fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. He received extensive training in all aspects of pulmonary and sleep disorders.

At Midwest Respiratory, Ltd., Dr. Leung diagnoses and treats a variety of pulmonary and sleep conditions and has special interests in sleep apnea, home noninvasive ventilation, asthma, chronic cough, and narcolepsy.

Dr. Leung speaks English and Chinese fluently. He is a compassionate physician and he works with patients to achieve lasting symptom relief and improve quality of life.
