John Walsh, MD

John Walsh, MD, MS, is one of the skilled physicians at Midwest Respiratory Ltd., which has offices in Joliet and New Lenox, Illinois. He is board-certified in critical care medicine, pulmonary disease medicine, and internal medicine. 

Dr. Walsh attended medical school at Loyola University of Chicago, where he also completed his internship. He completed his Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, and completed an additional research fellowship at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Dr. Walsh is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He also maintains professional memberships with the American Lung Association,                                                           

American College of Chest Physicians, American Federation for Clinical Research, and the American Federation for Clinical Research.

Dr. Walsh specializes in treating patients with asthma, COPD, chronic cough, lung cancer, and pulmonary hypertension. He also enjoys helping patients with smoking cessation and tobacco use disorder.
